Default Rookie question about monthly bidding

US Airways specifically

Anybody have any techniques for bidding lines. It seems overwhelming to me. My priorities are overnights in my hometown, commute-ability and number of days off (more is better). I'm not at all concerned about pay hours (at $40 an hour the marginal difference isn't worth the extra work).

The hometown stops and number of days off is easy to look at. It's the commute-able trips that are tougher. I've determined desirable trips using the trip sheet. Now how do I easily match those trips on the bid line result sheet?

I thought I'd export the bid line result sheets into excel and then create a filter or conditional formatting of some sort to pick my lines. Unfortunately, I wasn't even able to export the data.

Any advice? Anybody have any experience exporting the data? Anybody written a good excel spreadsheet to work the problem?

Thanks and PM's welcome

Is WinBid Lines the program to use on the iPad? I don't carry my laptop on the road and use my personal iPad instead. Is that what I would need to sort lines? I'm just curious because I'm getting very close to being a Primary Block holder.

Winbid on the PC is more powerful than the Mac version.
Even though I am a Mac user, I still fire up the win-tel box for bidding.

Another recommendation for Winbid. Don't know what I'd do with out it. It has the ability to deal with each of the preferences you mentioned.

Might seem like too much $$ since we are supposed to go PBS in the next year or so. But once you use it... :.

Yes. This.

If you have a Mac, then buy Parralels, and then buy Winbid8.

I'm actually running WinNid8 on Windows 8.1 in Parallels Desktop 9.2 on OS X Mavericks 10.9.2.

Did you every run into an "authentication error 4" in BidCom?
