Captains are specifically required to make gate house PAs and/or PAs from the front of the cabin and to introduce themselves to each passenger in BE. All pilots are to engage passengers when the opportunity exists and to help all passengers, by answering questions, helping them find their way in the terminals, retrieving strollers, pushing wheelchairs and giving cockpit tours.

Haha.I do agree with improving the passenger experience with appropriate interaction. Also this isn't 1945, gate houses dont exist anymore, they're called gates now :)

I do think he's trolling. Its OK there are a few oddballs that have caused issues at all airlines, no big deal. Most of us get it. I hope :)

[QUOTE=deiter67;1716532]Had a wear tester on the JS yesterday.... The pants have a high waist and elastic in the sides that stretch....QUOTE]

This is the only part that truly concerns, ok frightens, me.

Look at it another way, think of all the fun you'll have snapping each others waist bands in ops. The new "wedgy."

The flat front sit lower. The pleated sit a *little* higher but nothing like whomever you talked to described. The problem with the flat front pants is they are just really, really skinny. At this point. Hopefully that will change with comments.

I have enjoyed black uniforms. It has been so nice to be able to buy pants that fit from any vendor of my choice. It was nice while it lasted.

I hope the women's uniform has nice pants options-not lame mom pants.

Yep they were putting a lot of effort into the women's uniform as well, from what I could tell there were also quite a few women of various shapes and sizes representing the pilot group.
