Anyone know if we'll have to wear wings or another "Flair" on our shirts? I could do without a blood letting ritual in the dark at 5 in the morning trying to get wings on my shirt.

I quit wearing the pin on wings for shirts 5 years ago when they approved sewn on wings.
I will never wear pin on wings again. |

You have sacrificed blood. This is symbolic of your willingness to sacrifice your will and your life for the benefit of the company. Anything...just Anything...for the company. |

I like the fact we don't have to wear wings on our shirts at US, but I know "That's not the wAAy we've done it here!" |
Real men wear the real metal wings on the shirt... Embroidered wings are for pansies! :p
The good news is that the embroidered wings are going bye bye. For good reason, they really looked like crap. And yes I do hope we continue to wear the wings on the shirt. It looks classy. I don't understand why you USAir guys don't wear them? you must be one of the only airlines out there that don't. Heck even at ACA we were issued "mini wings" for the shirts. Putting them on the shirt is really an issue for some of you? C'mon guys...why even get dressed if we're gonna go there. |
If it's charcoal grey that means you will probably have to use the uniform vender. This will be the first time I've ever worn the company's uniform vender pants :(

AA/US Uniform
I'm amazed at how vocal people are about what they will and won't do regarding uniforms. Delta pilots look GREAT. They, for the most part, carry themselves in a highly professional manor.
It seems ludicrous that we're going to demand Delta pay parity, and then deny a uniform on par. For those who articulated C&R, did you folks clearly spell out your unique uniform standards when you interviewed? Middle class America tends to think too highly of themselves at times. That being said I will miss wearing boots if they have to go away. |
