As long as the theme is the same, I'm not offended...upset..concerned..?? To do so would seem rather petty, IMHO.

I wear the approved uniform to include a patriotic tie that demonstrates that I love my country with all of its flaws. The FOM states that I can wear a patriotic tie....and some othe such. I HAVE noticed that MANY patriotic ties I've seen worn are NOT what is offered by the "company" store. Red, White & Blue. God Bless the USA.

How about that lawsuit. I won't support one. You?

Conspiracy theorists could say that the east got bad news and is spreading rumors of good news in order to get the cash rolling. I guess stranger things have happened, and if it makes you feel better about the rumors-knock yourself out.
The east merger committee got a late start at this. The only money they got was their share of the money the company contributed. The LAA committee had the APA treasury and the west pilots had AOL's fund raising machine. With the late start, fund raising wasn't the biggest priority.
East pilots have to fund this, just as west pilots had to fund theirs and LAA pilots used their dues to fund theirs. The east committee has no access to any other funds.
There is no excuse for any east pilot not to send money, except maybe those retiring this year. In our other mergers we were assessed for these costs, but the LAA pilots had the funds they needed and they say there is no way to assess just one group.

Instead of complaining about a piece of silk....maybe you should STUDY the importance of an iconic piece of American History:

I admitted no such thing. I did get into the CLT elevator and saw a Cappy wearing REBOK black tennis shoes. Beautiful.

I tried to get my group to go down a different path. They disagreed with me. If the Nic is really dead I will have to say that I was wrong. I'll gladly bear that burden.
Thanks for all the BS posts. Hopefully it helped generate interest in the subject.
