But you're gonna let a guy's tie wind you panties in a bunch? How about a bunch of FOs clambering around in captain's stripes even after new uniforms were issued? Seems like that might be a big deal but I just smiled at them because, hey...what the heck do I care if your ego can't handle the apparent shame of not getting called "Captain" at the airport Starbucks. If you can't sit next to me because of my tie, good luck taking THAT to the CP's office...regardless of which one of us is in which seat.
October 1 the tie is gone.

Who cares.. If it doesn't impact D-10 it doesn't matter to management.
How did you know he was bald? Not kidding, he is.

I think it is bad because he looks older than real captain who is way cooler and there should be no question who is in charge. I actually thought he was the captain of the trip til he took his jacket off.

A bunch of us were downgraded after 9/11 at my previous company. We all started off trumped up about how we would keep wearing our Captain's garb. I think we all figured out before we went back to the line as FOs that: 1.) nobody cares if you were a Captain and 2.) it creates confusion among people who actually need to talk to the ACTUAL Captain and therefore it ends up being sort of disrespectful to the Captain...but hey, whatever.

I honestly can't wait until all this bickering is behind us.

Lol, please say it won't take that long....

Back to the topic:
I'm surprised (and disappointed) at the posters on the East who are going to wait until the award is out to decide if they are going to help fund the East integration.

As long as the theme is the same, I'm not offended...upset..concerned..?? To do so would seem rather petty, IMHO.
Is it just "about patriotism" or is it a (hijacked) symbol to your west colleagues that you have donated? Remember the CactusPilot cards that the west pilots wore behind their badges? That was to show how much you donated.

Some west pilots admit that not donating to the cause (missing AOL tie or CactusPilot card) will put them on "no fly/avoid" with their colleagues (no visible open time etc).

You gotta love the dirty little tricks from the west.
