you'd think if they have 300 more aircraft they will need another ACMI or two on top of what's available to staff it. I wouldnt think they want any ACMIs to grow big enough to accommodate that growth because the bigger one gets the more leverage they have.

serious question- are there that many planes available?

There are a fair amount of 76’s and T7’s on the market at the moment. Also a couple years ago there were articles about Amazon talking to Airbus about the possibility of 330neo freighters. Not saying they would actually do that (probably just a head fake to Boeing, and obviously Airbus would have to agree to build it), but I do think they’ll do whatever they need to do to get the lift.
Who knows who’ll be flying AMZ freight in the future. Could be more ACMI’s for sure. Could be a whole other plan of action all together. Time will tell.

21Air, NAC, Amerijet, probably Mesa. Plenty of carriers out there who would be happy to jump into the AMZN goat rope. By the time this is all said and done, Amazon will have a dozen carriers operating for it.

Pretty sure you don’t fully pay for a plane which you aren’t receiving for another year.

I definitely think it’s going that way.

It’s a catch 22. Growth is good too. Where did you hear they were paid for in full? That’s not typical of a corporation in our sector.
(Not trying to sound confrontational. Hard not to with only text)
