Hmmmm... There are those who understand why the new contract isn't "Industry Leading".... If everyone were as brave as PB there'd have been a new contract in 2015.
Stupid pedantics on your part. They said “industry standard” over and over.
You know what, I remember being a new hire paired up with Pete. He taught me never to take any sh!$ from the company and to stand up when I felt I was being wronged. And to know my contract inside and out. I personally watched him walk off airplanes.....TWICE when he thought he was being screwed, and I happily walked alongside him. It actually empowered me to do it myself. Now that I think about it, if we were all like Pete we probably would have had a contract in 2016.
Thanks for the reminder....it's been a while since I reached out and said hello.
You management types should really check yourself as your rhetoric may have unintended consequences.

Nobody ever "promised industry leading". The only promise was to fight for industry standard, and that is exactly what was delivered. I would submit that any confusion on this point probably stems from some personal hatred of certain individuals. The expression "blind hatred" comes to mind. Some people just lose all their senses.
As a matter of fact he got called out during the March/April crew call just prior or just after it went into arbitration when suddenly the term “industry standard” was substituted.
You know the webinars we’re not “allowed to record”.

But hey, I probably made that up also.

Just like other carriers where the crappy contract passes with 90% yes but you can’t find anyone who voted yes on it since everyone claims to have voted no.

Well yes they did, BK himself used the term “industry leading” more then once during crew call webinars.

Informal “hey what do you think of” surveys on the line reveal that at least 60% of the pilot group do not actively support 2750.

"Union Failure"
It hasn't gone unnoticed by FedEx. They've signed a deal to lay off more flying to Atlas thereby putting even more pressure on pilot wages and working conditions country wide.

Union failure? I think not! The union is no stronger than the pilots it represents. It appears the Atlas pilots are a bunch of whimps.

Hey! It is what it is. I stand by my statement. As they say, the proof is in the agreement. The Atlas pilots accepted sub standard wages and working conditions period. Whom am I to complain. I guess that's what they wanted. Too bad.
