Atlas Air Hiring
You wouldn't want to be a loadmaster, anyway - those guys get used and abused. It's standard to have loadmasters or PSRs who hadn't been off the jet in days on the pax 767s. They "bathe" by using the lav sinks or, when they're really lucky, using the potable water drain under the tail.

I would second CaptainV. Avoiding a pilot job and taking a non-pilot job in hopes of getting a pilot job would decidedly not be the better way.

I wouldn't worry about it too much yet. I took my test in early July, didn't get the phone interview until August 12th, and only received the invite to interview in Miami on October 7th this week. Some were called right away from my grouping too, others weren't. I just kept updating my resume with them and indicating my interest. Eventually I was given a shot. Good luck!

You're either a pilot or you're not, when you muddy the waters you only hurt yourself in the long run, the days of working your way up from the ramp are long gone.
Just got the call a little while ago. Great conversation; no stress. Ms. Clarke is lovely to talk with, and will interview next week in MIA. Very excited to move forward in the process! Anything in particular that I should double down on studying for the interview? Yes, I've read the previous stuff, but anything they're recently focused on? Thanks everyone!

Haven't taken the test yet...still studying...what's a passing score? Also, anyone reading this that has, or is planning on taking the online test in the near future that is interested in a CRM session or two, please PM me.

Got the call today. Headed to Miami on the 7th. Good luck to all those that are hoping for the call and tremendous thanks to all those that have helped us to navigate the hiring process. I look forward to meeting everyone at the interview and I hope it will be all good news!
I took the test on 20 May and passed with an 89. Since then, I've sent emails with updated resume and flight hours and even talked to them at OBAP yet nothing. I have to wonder what I did or didn't do to not get the call or if my resume/application got lost (those five or six times.)
