It says, "Thank you for attending our recent interviews. We appreciate your recent interest in a flight crewmember position with Atlas Air. While your qualifications meet our requirements, we do not currently have a class date available. Your name has been added to our preferential hiring list. Placement on the preferential hiring list does not guarantee employment. We will notify you if a class date becomes available."
So does that mean I'm in the Pool too? Can I celebrate a little now? Or hang my head in disarray?

Well got that FedEx letter, but not the response I was looking for. Thanks to all of you who provided a wealth of info on this thread. I was really looking forward to calling Atlas home. Sure wish I knew what I did wrong. Not going to give up on it though.

Not that I recall. During the phone interview, I remember they said to take the test quickly because they'd already filled something like 30 of 65 class slots, but i have no idea how many classes they've had or how things have changed since then...
