Hepatitis B can be found in third world blood supplies, so you might want to consider getting that one even if you are not planning on sport sex in Hong Kong.
This is not a place for anti-vaccers. On the other hand perhaps that long list on the shot card explains a few things.
Hepatitis B is one that I have always kept current (I believe it's every ten years).
But regardless, if you have time before training starts, go visit a Travel Medicine doctor, and at the very least, do some homework on the CDC, WebMD, etc sites about their recommendations for Africa, S Asia, and S America. (If there is an eight thousand foot or greater runway, you may end up there, so don't take this lightly).
Great question btw, and I'm not sure it's been asked before in 1240 pages...wow.
Good luck in the school house.

If you interviewed on the 19th, shoot me a PM and let me know about class dates and class offers.

Speaking of advice, I've got LOADS of questions...
How do most guys pack for 17 day rotations? 22" or 26" bag? Small duffel? Pilot bag for laptop, iPad, etc.? International charger? I'll need my laptop for my first few months as I'm taking a few classes and need it, but ultimately plan on leaving it at home.
I've researched international calling plans, Skype, facetime, etc. And I've got that under control. I've got the global entry process started so that's covered.
What uniform items do I need to buy? Does Atlas cover a majority of uniform items?
Standby for more as the questions keep coming to me.
I should add that I'm very excited for this opportunity and what the future holds.

....and if I may add, anything else that you want just goes on the company credit card whenever you get them. There is a long list in the FOM, divided between "Required", "Primary" and "Secondary". I have never had it questioned, even when I dropped a $568 charge a couple of years ago.

-I will be carrying my 17" laptop too. Until I save for a surface pro. I just use a bag and hang it from my suitcAse. You can get an international charger at Home Depot probably. I got mine in Europe. Not a big deal.
-I have t mobile. Best thing ever!
-company provides uniforms and tailoring.
Congrats on getting here. If you're unfortunate enough to get the 76 PM me. I have loads of info I can pass forward for the training program.

Most electronics chargers will use 110v or 220v no problem, you just need a collection of adapters for the foreign outlets. Check the fine print on the charger though to be sure, they almost always are 110v or 220v ac though.
