Nobody is going to the street. We still need to staff those 10 airplanes your bringing. We couldn't spearhead this from the ground up if we tried right now. Part of the value of this transaction is that those 250 pilots are already trained and in place. Your jobs should be considered secure in my opinion. Now, how the group is integrated, etc will all have to be sorted. Bringing those already pre-signed narrow body rates you have over is certainly not going to help though. Yikes.

I took that same test 5 months ago... and no call for an interview in all that time... I'm alluding to the fact that no matter what I do I'm more and more certain I will never see life at Atlas. It's too bad because they basically have the lifestyle I've been chasing for years, while also having stability and a good reputation.
Obviously nothing could have been said by anyone from Atlas during the interviews yesterday (if those folks even knew it was coming.) But could anyone interviewing the rest of this week let us know what they say about ongoing hiring in light of this announcement, please.
FWIW, there were roughly 35 of us there yesterday.

Southern air had committed to 27? 28? 737 for DHL domestic hub flying. Last I heard they had only managed to crew about 5, because the T&C for the CVG based 737 were so terrible.
What is the current 737 situation exactly???
