AKpilotdude,
First, are you sure you are a pilot, $200 for a hotel room, really, heck you probably bought your USA Today!
Second, did you put some of those pastries in your flight bag for later? This too is a test. A true Atlas pilot would put pastries, fruit loops, a bagel, and probably some bacon in their bag for that 'just in case moment' just sayin........
Seriously good luck!

I attended the last FAPA job fair to visit Atlas. I received the test the next morning, took it immediately and passed. Last Friday (the 15th) I received the phone interview and we talked 20/25 minutes. I thought that the conversation went really well. At the end of the call the recruiter mentioned that they were just gathering information on people at this time, and the hiring manager would review my file. If interested, they would call me for a face to face interview.
I had heard that the current round of interviews this week were already filled. I was just wondering if anyone else had received the phone interview between last Friday and today and given the same information. I am a little concerned that I did not get an offer for the face to face interview at the end of the call. I am hoping it was just that they had not picked dates for the next round. Any additional information would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I got called Tuesday the 12th and was offered to interview on a day of my choice. I interviewed 18th.
passing the test should get you an interview, so unless you said something you regret saying, I would email them in a few days and politely remind them of the call and hint around you want an interview. people slip through the cracks at Atlas, especially at this hiring rate.

The other side of the coin was the guy who got lost and was on the payroll for over a year without turning his first wheel on OE (under the old rules). He only got found because he put in a vacation bid.

True words. EVERYTHING has the potential fall into the Grand Canyon at Atlas. Good people, strained infrastructure. It has always been so.

Interviewed 1/18. Met some true professionals, what a breath of fresh air.
The board was very clear of growth plans for Atlas, and that they wanted to attract high quality people as they continue to explode in the growth of the company. Interview which was very laid back, so when called best advice, just be yourself. This is a company which from what I saw, put value on your time and experience. They want to attract new professional's and maintain the group they have.
From my friends and ex colleagues whom currently work here truly love the job and are very excited for the future. They need pilot's in order to sustain their growth plans while maintaining QOL for pilot's already flying the line. Management and the group are seem to be in tune with each other, in hopes that not only improves profitability and sustained growth for the company, but becomes an airline which pilot's want to hang their hat.
Good luck to everyone in this wave, and hope to see you in a class soon.

Massive cracks at Atlas. But an interesting opportunity nonetheless.
