Probably our attrition will increase, and I think for sure we will have existing and new customers asking for lift above and beyond our planned increases, so I think the 650 numbers are the floor of new hires required.

Namaste...
Guess the numbers are in our favor for guys who want to get on there, hopefully I'll get an interview and will get hired.

Heard no classes (except the 6/27) until September

Just to be clear, you mean that after this upcoming class, there will not be another class until September? Is this from a reliable source?

Atlas needs ever person it can get through the training program right now. I don't believe it is physically possible for them to hired enough to Have the number of crews that scheduling would like for peak flying this year...

For the moment......we are overstaffed. They need to clear the training backlog before starting to hire all out again.

Are any new interviews even scheduled?

Overstaffed ?? I think not. Open time trips and extensions still underway. 17 more retirements this year (several this month alone). Add a few early retirements (C.U., etc.) and many moves to FedEx/DAL/UAL/AAL, etc. and even management knows we are not overstaffed. Also there was a net loss of 12 pilots from the may seniority list to the June list!

Yes interviews and classes are scheduled and happening.

Haven't seen very many open time trips posted for about a month. About one a week. At least for the 747.

Extensions are way down too. Been sitting around a heck of alot more the last 2 months.

Same here. Been averaging about working 3 legs per week on the 747.

This is probably due to lots of OE flying. While in recurrent recently, we were told that they are pulling DE's from the training center to do OE.
