Pilots live around the globe here at Atlas. They make it work in any scenario. Plan on the worst case where it is up to you to get to a US gateway city to get to work. If you get the job then there are plenty of guys you can get advice from for your particular commute. Good luck!

Does is seem to you guys like pre-interview calls are going out once a month too,...just luck Miami interview dates and then fedex envelopes? Or are the phone interviews continuous through the entire month?

Just my opinion based on my experience, and others I know. They seemed to do the phone screens in the first 7-10 days of the month, and interview in the back third of the month giving about 10-14 days notice, with candidates/interviewees getting the envelopes around the very end of the month or very beginning of the following month.

More proof of moving in the right direction:

N194UA (ex United 747) finally in all Atlas colors. The three class configuration was kept. I think it looks great. Although, I do like the Houston birds' paint schemes a little better.

The airplane below, previously flown by JAL, is now (as of last week) flying in Atlas Air colors as N458MC...you spotters need to get some pics of this bird. Its sister ship will be N459MC, and should join the Atlas fleet next month.

So, yes, we are moving in the right direction.

How much weight to you guys think an internal rec from a Polar FO will hold as far as getting an initial phone call? Obviously it's better than not having one at all, but compared to an internal from an Atlas FO or CA?,...much difference?

Also, how long into this year do you guys speculate the interviews hiring will continue? I'm getting a little nervous but still have hope!

Thanks.

Now, I'm still on the outside lookin' in, but I am pretty sure I got the call because of my guys on the inside working for me. From my session with RR, I don't think there would be much, if any, difference whether a rec came from a 5Y or PO pilot.

Regardless, I think ANY rec would be better than nothing.
