Atlas values the contributions of its pilots. The Company will continue to negotiate with the IBT for a joint contract for Atlas and Southern Air crewmembers in connection with the pending merger. The Company remains committed to completing the bargaining process in a timely manner and in the best interests of all parties.

Be sure to ask the recruiters about the benefits of multiple lawsuits against the pilot group and how enjoyable a toxic working environment is.

How many are truly qualified? Or maybe competitive is the better word. I was behind a guy at last job fair UPS booth. The guy talked the reps ear off and turned out wasn't even qualified. Was approaching 1000 hours.

In all honesty 1500 hours and an ATP is competitive at this point. They're just looking for guys who might stick around a few years. What ever your back ground is show up ready to learn because they will wash you out and that'll stick on your record.
I have seen that the APC profile for Atlas says currently not hiring, but I have heard two different stories about a December class, one is that it will be 747, the other is the remaining classes for 2017 will be 767.
I've read the good, the bad and the ugly on here, just wondering what's going on?

Word was no 74 classes till next year. Then heard a rumor last week they may run a 74 class in December, just doing the classroom part in December and do the fixed base and sim part next year when the instructors return to roost.

Atlas is the white water rafting of the airline industry. Some people like that environment, others do not.
