Hello All. Can anybody help me out with the online test? I have read almost the entire thread, but must have missed the good advise about the test. Also, Is there a good PDF version of the references needed for the test. Hoping for the interview! Thanks!

Congrats and good luck with retirement! I just finished up and was lucky enough to go to training while on terminal leave. A couple of suggestions:
- Apply early. I did it last year while deployed and included by return date and that I wasn't available until May 11. Got the call in Aug 10, interviewed in Sep, and class in May. The company is very military friendly!
- GET AN FAA CLASS 1 ASAP. Trust me, stuff can happen and you don't need the added stress of a delayed medical because of a backlog at a regional office.

Another question I forgot to ask: is there any point in applying before the Class I/ATP are done and then updating once they are? Or are those kinds of applications likely in the trashcan as soon as they arrive?

Hello All, I received the call today for a Face to Face interview on July 27, the HR lady mentioned that we have to write an Essay with introduction, Body of 3 paragraph with 5 sentence each and a conclusion for a total of 500 words, on a hot aviation subject; can someone share the subject that they used.

Thank you.

Hello Jimbo33, I took the test on July 14; Before I took the test I went to Pages 75&77 of this Forum copied it down and look for the answers on the internet, I also download the Aviation weather symbols, the New York Airport Chart and reviewed them. The questions on this pages where a very good reference, very helpful and beneficial.
Hope this info could help you.

The subject of the writing endeavor will change with each interview group. What's important isn't complete technical mastery of the subject but rather that you can form coherent sentences and clearly convey your thoughts. In other words, it's the form rather than the specific content which counts the most.

DoomedTX,
Good question. I'm not sure if they would "can" the resume or not... Unless you could explain your situation in the resume. Anybody else have any ideas?
