Atlas is having a hiring event at their training facility in Miami on 14 Dec. Leaning towards going, but a little unsure. Anyone go to one of these and have any success being it isn't a full-up airline recruitment fair? It says the corporate presentation starts at 1000 and the entire thing ends at 1200. Also says to bring a resume.
BirdSmash is on point, perfect.
Saved some periods with the longest run-on sentence of drivel below.
If you're curious, somewhat local with the ability to drive in, enjoy traveling the world on well trodden routes and others rarely seen by even the largest of airlines, prefer to live in any area of your choice and move almost wherever you want having a hotel and commute provided, have several equipment types serving different routes and purposes domestically - internationally - or both, enjoy cargo, pax charters, mil pax, unmatched variety of purpose and locations and a myriad of other opportunities then take a chance and see a brochure most likely, a pitch for qualified candidates and perhaps a tour I don't know. If you do go, come back here and layout what was declared and most of us here can quantify any promotions or promises made.
On the other hand we have made some steps in the right direction, bills are paid and then some, extra pay is attainable at times I hear (I don't chase this avenue and things have changed a bit supposedly), although longer trips on the road depending on the platform - normally longer periods off. Seeking higher compensation like all the rest and greater retirement initiatives as well. We have greater strides to improve upon no doubt and everywhere has something they desire. Lastly, it's not a bad place to await your turn to be hired by FedEx/UPS while they hash out their internal balance and begin to hire once more. We hook'em, fry'em and clean'em up real good to be hired anywhere else if they so choose. Easiest time in the industry to be hired due to the lowest requirements ever, find your home of choice near a base that some airline has an established a main hub and await your turn to be hired until the music stops. Timing is everything.

Take the corporate presentation with a grain of salt. It was overly optimistic in terms of monthly pay, especially for a junior FO that will have trouble getting Open Time or a higher credit line.

I'm not a recruiter, and I'm wrong about many things. Others can correct or adjust from here.
Crap... "Pilots of Atlas Air Recruiting" what else am I missing? The Heavy 74 Boyz of Atlas, The Triple Monsters of Mahem, 76 Cool Kids of Charter or The Gurus of the Guppy Calendars. Don't even have an FB account - missed all the Giant Coms Sport B*tching fortunately and relied upon ya'll on the road. Now it seems I may be left out of something productive. Thanks Elevation.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Head over to YouTube and enjoy watching one of your fellow pilots in the RayBan Aviators. Lol
