As this thread has stated we have a pool full of swimmers from recent interviews. January classes will most likely pull people from the pool in the order of highest interview process points. Wouldn't be surprised however to see interviewing pick back up a few months into the new year...

Did they say what is driving the hiring? More -8s on property? 76s?

We have two more (previously announced) -8's coming and some retirements next year. That alone should justify 70 new hires.

All 747 in the first 6 months. JC said specifically that no hiring on the 767 for that time frame.

My guess would be the 2 -8's, retirements and an increase of LCF flying.

He did mention that there were a fair amount of retirements next year an the bulk of them were front loaded in the first half.

Also at least 15 upgrades on the 74. That won't even cover the retirements though so more are coming.

All of that is good to hear. Man i cant wait to get a class date. Hopefully atlas gives me a good xmas gift.
