We currently operate one 744 for EY...and this would make it two.
Thanks, missed that. A friend working at EY told me a few weeks ago they already had 2 -400F flying for them. Regardless, good stuff!

KLM is flying a 744F for Etihad, maybe that was the second 744F.

Any idea why you think they rejected you?

I have ran into trouble with going out on my last day off to position for a trip. I wasnt aware they could do that but It happened to me more than once. I tried for X day pay and they said no. The union said its legal but I dont see how.

Had to position in to CVG today (a day off) to start a trip tomorrow. Of course, I'm based here. Are they expecting JFK pilots to do the same, assuming you're going somewhere other than JFK to start the trip?

What do you mean you ran into trouble? If you don't live in base, it's perfectly normal to have to gateway travel to your base the day prior in order to be rested in place to depart on "day 1" of your trip. I actually had to gateway travel 2 days early on this trip. Travel on 17th to be rested in place on the night of the 18th which is actually the 19th Z day...the start of my trip. Did I miss something?

I come from the C-5 world...trust me this is way better. My experience so far (which is only 3 trips) says 99 times out of 100 the airplane works, you depart on time, catering is onboard, you have trans and a hotel room waiting for you when you step off the jet. I know some will chime in with exceptions but all in all, everything works WAY SMOOTHER than a C-5 trip. The best part is you don't have to go in to the office and fight the madness after you land from your 2 week trip. As a good friend of mine said, it's a lot like the C-5 life except for the crappy part.
