Default pretected down days

I understand there is a lot of change that happens while on your line. How about your scheduled days off? If I get a 60 day line with a 14 days off in a row, could I plan a last minute vaction or something and be reasonbly certain my line wont change.

Off days are off days. You have no responsibility to even remember who you work for. Even if you volunteer and are tagged, you can say no. The only potential issues would be the chance of getting extended (up to three days) from your previous trip, having to commute in on your last day off for your next trip or the requirement to call in 30-35 hours prior to beginning a reserve window.

Looked pretty decent. Guidance is what's sending the stock up 8%.

Thanks kme, I haven't applied for Atlas because I thought the schedule was more like 18 days on 12 off. That's was to close to the C-5 world & I was burnt out on that life style.

But really, what does it matter? With the exception of bidding out of ANC to avoid a long commute, you'd be better off bidding the most junior base (CVG) to maximize you bidding power.
Thanks for the replies gentlemen. I appreciate the responses.

From the story in the link...

"The new contract between the companies follows a letter of intent announced on April 1, 2013, and complements an existing Boeing 747-400F ACMI arrangement between Atlas and Etihad."

We currently operate one 744 for EY...and this would make it two.
