Thanks for the technical questions... lots of studying to do, most of those (I think) I know by heart... but that they're being asked in an interview like this gives me some pause... are they looking for very specific definitions on the V speeds? I mean from a practical standpoint we should all know what they mean, do they expect a textbook one paragraph answer or a demonstration of the understanding?
As far as briefings, I know each company has various expectations, ours are rather generic, do they expect one with extreme detail starting from the pushback or a simple takeoff briefing?
I'm sure I'll have more questions as I keep reading.

Hey there everybody, I just submitted an app to Atlas a few days back.
My question is: What is the best source to prepare for the pre-interview online test?
• Buy the Massive ATP Book and start cramming?
• Buy the Online software ATP book download?
• ???
What have you all recently used to help pass the test?
Thanks in advance :-)

Hi aviator hi,
They just asked for whatever takeoff brief you do right meow in the cockpit....here is what I brief right meow based on the CRM & the TEM model (Threat and Error Management):
DEPARTURE BRIEF
Taxi Route out/hot spots
Duties (PF/PM)
Aborted takeoff considerations
Less then 80kts, more then 80kts to V1
Malfunction after V1
Engine Failure Path
Emergency Landing Plan
Departure route, RNAV or non RNAV SID
Acceleration Height, noise abatement procedure (NADP 1 or 2)
Wx considerations
Terrain considerations
Transition Altitude/level
As far as briefing in the van or as the Capitan:
OPERATIONAL BRIEF
Airport & Operational info
Notams
MELs
Best watch shop in Hong Kong
Display & automation threats
Other potential threats and foreign/ICAO policies
I'm human too, help me out if I do something silly
ARRIVAL BRIEF
STAR
Terrain in the area
Monitored approach brief
Approach plate
RNAV/CANPA
MAP procedure
Acceleration Height
Diversion plan if likely
Runway conditions
Planned taxi to cargo area
Every company has their favorite ways to brief, they just want to hear yours or what a good safe pilot would say with relevant information for the departure brief. They were using Cincinatti and Brussles with us for the departure briefs this week.
