I was awarded a 60 day line that looks like this: 14 on/14 off/9 on/5 off/11 on/8 off. I'm actually very happy with that and the bidding seniority only goes up from here.
kme--thanks for sharing! Can anyone speak to NY area lines for a new hire?

Easy enough - you won't hold JFK in either airplane as a new hire.

Default National 747 down in Bagram

I am sure it will be posted elsewhere but thought I would pass the word here too. https://twitter.com/RAM4REZ/status/3...108481/photo/1 wbn: BREAKING -- Civilian cargo plane crashes at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, coalition says.

Crash: National Air Cargo B744 at Bagram on Apr 29th 2013, lost height shortly after takeoff

"According to a listener on frequency the crew reported the aircraft stalled due to a possible load shift."

Right now, the new hire have been placed mostly in ANC, and CVG on the 747. The last several classes on the 767 have all been placed in CVG.

Some of the 747 new hires have been able to bid out of ANC to CVG and HSV by the time they finish simulators and before OE.
