The Rangers use Paradigm, a 125 they share with the Mavs and Stars. They've got a 757 and 727.

I had breakfast last week with the union guy who does most of the interviews. He told me recommendations of any kind (including ones from chief pilot or other management or pilot) does not help in any way to get a call. Recommendations only help for "points" during the interview.

I was just passing through. I've had a few union jobs, and man I wish we had the union doing the interviewing!! Sounds like you guys have a grip on things here!

A union rep is always part of the 3-man interview panel down in MIA. They don't control hiring by any means, but they are part of the process.

Well, we did have something like that a while back. The union was in the interviews for supervisors. Seems there was a bit of a problem with them respecting the contract. They did not "control" a thing though. Not even a vote.
Does your union guy at least get a vote?

Help please! Struggling to get my 100 hours even with the waiver. I have been doing a ton of sitting around on the road and hardly any flying (7 hours in May) In trying to bid I have few options. From the 76 guys would you suggest option A bidding a very low time line (23 hours) or just bidding reserve and hope to fly some of the international stuff to get hours. The clock is ticking to 150 days and the flying is just not happening. Just dont want to do the wrong thing with my bid and fly less. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks

Welcome!... Part of the reason training/interviews has slowed is due to the backlog of pilots awaiting OE and getting their hours in. Don't sweat it, bid what you want. However, be persistent and call scheduling and remind them how many hours you still need. If you feel you are still not going to make it or scheduling is clueless, call and ask for a crew planner to discuss options. Atlas obviously doesn't want you to time out, but sometimes schedules get lost in the shuffle. Good luck!

Not really...because they are NOT adding any airframes. Just rerouting the airplanes a little...both 763Fs in Asia were mostly doing NRT-NGO-PVG-NRT-SYD-NRT.

Now...one is doing just NRT-SYD-NRT-MEL-ICN-NRT, and the other is doing TPE-NGO-ICN-TPE, with a few variations.

Still two airframes, one "based" in NRT, and the other in TPE...
