Thanks, we were in downtown SYD when I was going there while on the 744...but I'll be going there a little more now that the twin is gonna go NRT to SYD also...can't wait for that to start this month, and I've got NRT Reserve from 18 to 30 April. Hope to make it down there soon.

I don't know if this helps answer your question, but I was four months on furlough when I got the call to interview. I have some friends who were at least six months off when they got theirs.

On the other hand, I probably had 250 or more in the year prior to the interview plus much higher total time. I may be comparing apples to coconuts, but I thought I'd at least give one perspective.

Thanks for the insight. Is Atlas "supposed" to be hiring into next year?

"I can't afford exofficio" If you are transitioning SEA airport there is an ex officio store that gives a pretty good airline discount. I'm not sure if it was a 20 or 30% discount but it made stuff a bit more reasonable. Their stuff is great for traveling as you can wash it in the sink and it will be dry within a few hours.

When I was in training at the beginning of the year, they were talking about hiring until the end of 2014. This is an airline though, so that's worth the electrons used to post it. Keep at the apps, you just never know when you might tickle HR's antenna.

I'm kind of surprised the 747's don't have washers and dryers installed on them!

Atlas opted for the pool table and the steam sauna in the upstairs lounge instead of the washer/dryer.
