Atlas Air Hiring
#1041
Thanks for all the great info about Atlas on this thread. I just got a call to take the online test. I know it is important to take it ASAP. The only issue is I just started a trip that will take me through the week. Does anyone know if it is possible to properly prepare for this test using only a hotel computer. I wish I was at home with all of my Aviation Books. Any info would be great on how to prepare. Thanks

A lot of the guys have used the Ace the Technical Pilot Interview...and you can get a pdf version at eBooks.com - Ace the Technical Pilot Interview eBook
Might be worth the $29.95 since you are on a trip...good luck.

Sure it is! I had a six hour window to get prepared so that, if I passed, I would be in line to make a certain interview group. My advice to everyone (besides drink heavily) is to make sure you answer EVERY question, do not leave ANY question unanswered!
Good Luck,

Be-warned about that book. Lots of incorrect things. Check out the reviews

When I spoke to them via phone they asked me if I was in the middle of a trip and when I told them yes she said to not worry about it and to take it when I got home. Did they ask you that or did you let them know that you were on a trip? If so they seemed to be very understanding about it.

I'd agree with the above. Like any good pilot, CRM and the use of ALL available hardware, software, AND liveware is to your benefit when you take that thing.
If ya don't mind me askin', what date were available.

TT254 I sent my resume in back in Nov, got the first call about 3 weeks ago, was in the middle of a trip so she told me to take the test when I got home. Took the test about 2 weeks ago. I know I missed a couple of them but still passed (somehow ha ha). Got the come to Miami call today. Interview days are 15, 16, 17 of next week.
Hope to see some of you down there. Congrats to all who've gotten this far, Best of luck to those who are trying to.
