Another thing I've seen some guys do--they list their Flight Engineer written test on their resume when applying to a company that doesn't have FEs. This kinda says "Purple is on my target list too"...(or at least back when they wanted the FE written). Like previously mentioned, a resume tailored to your target is a good idea.

The PAQ used to just list 737NG series, NOT the 737 classic(300-500, not 100-200 though) as it does now. I had 737 listed under my types, but the box not checked since I had only 737 classic time, and I was called for an interview.

List your types, check the boxes for the aircraft you have actually flown, and rest assured that you won't have to "explain" anything that is not 100% true.

Since I can't edit my post...

The bold above indicates where I SHOULD have placed the parentheses.

Seems like Monday's class will be the last one for a spell.

They will be replenishing the pool though.

Any word on how long that spell will be?

Hard to say. Last vacancy bid showed 12 more new hires to ANC. It looks like they're changing some things around between CVG, HSV, and LAX with the latest DHL flying announcement out of CVG. We take delivery of the 9th -8 late second quarter. I think they've hired up to that point.

Might be a little soft over the summer while they take a look at how everything is moving. They've been hiring like crazy size last July (about 120 or so). Think they're just taking a breather for a bit. Keep the faith.

Not that I've heard. It IS an airline, so breakfast's plan was on the 3d iteration by lunch, a bad idea at dinner, and long forgotten at bedtime.

The last press release talks about the addition of 400 flying between CVG and NRT and additional SYD NRT flights. Then it talks about the addition of 2 767 ERF's, is this in reference to the two that were added last Jan or are two more on the way and is the BRU flying going away?

CVG-NRT is currently being done from LAX...same airplane will now do CVG-NRT.

BRU is going away this week and airplanes will ferry to NRT to start NRT-SYD, and several places in Asia and return to NRT and SYD...this rotation is being done with 2 existing 767-300ERFs that we are already operating, one to BRU and the other to MIA.

So, no net gain of aircraft...
