Is Hawaii considered domestic for the purposes of gateway travel and the first class or coach ticket?

Except if your duty day is more than 16 hours then business class even for domestic.

Same with ANC. This is a situation where it pays to call Travel 5 days prior to book your flight home, snag an aisle seat and maybe get an exit row with extra legroom. (seatguru.com is invaluable)

And it isn't Gateway when your trip ends away from your crew base, it's a DH. 16-hour rule applies. (CBA 8.A.1.c)
