Thanks for the reply. I've been trying to get on close to 3 years now. Visited the booth at Vegas fair and just recently got an internal rec. Flying for one of your contractors in the ME (OMAA). Hopefully something pans out (fingers crossed)

I just spoke to friend who is in MIA about the finish training on the 74. He said they haven't had interviews or heard of any classes being scheduled.
My .02 would be that they'll hire more folks when more current students get through OE on the 74. That assumes we need more pilots and what the retiree/turn over is. Also, I'm not sure how the new work/rest rules will impact the total number of required pilots since we're both a passenger and cargo operation. This month alone there are 16 folks based in ANC that need to start/finish OE. Then the current class in MIA (12) finishes this week and will bid for OE in July and then the class behind them(12) will finish towards the end of June. That's a lot of folks to finish OE before the end of Aug. Based on training alone it would seem another class wouldn't start until aug (end of sep finish) at the earliest to ensure the current amount of OEs are complete by the end of Sep to free up room in October for OE.
