The day went just like I've read with the different parts of the interview process. No real surprises there at all.

This thread was a big help and the advice offered by you guys was an even bigger help. I felt really prepared going in, and very confident. Thanks so much to all of you guys and gals who have contributed to this thread, and to me personally. I really appreciate it.

Now, I just hope that it pays off and I get "that" phone call in a week or so, not the "other" phone call. LOL!
Congrats and good luck! Did they say anything about upcoming classes?

Also, from those that interviewed in April it took about 2 weeks to receive the congrats email.

I'm living in the fantasy world that there is one holdout in the IT department keeping us tied to Android. As soon as he/she dies off, we will be in iPads like 30,000+ other airline pilots are ahead of us. Surely those companies have figured out how to make it do what they need it to do.

Back when I was studying, this thread gave me a vast majority of the info I needed. There have been updates to it even since I studied, and as mentioned by others, the book "Everything Explained for the Professional Pilot" by Richie Lengel was awesome. It's a spendy book, but it's like the greatest gouge book ever put together. Get it and read through this thread. There are good indexes scattered through here as well.

Get 3 pilot buddies all on laptops. When you get to a question that nobody knows, get one buddy on google and skip that question until they find the answer, come back to it quickly and answer. The failure rate taking it by yourself is VERY high. In fact, the only people I know who have failed the test attempted it alone.

Thanks all for your replies. Atlas is such a great place for many reasons, and I bet that 2/3 would be much less than 1/3 if retirement and compensation were increased, but I understand the nature of the beast and the maturity of the CBA.

How often should I resubmit my resume online? I applied last year when the window opened.
