It seems they've changed the order of things. They're sending out the link to take the test first now. I got an email on Thursday, inviting me to take the exam and fill out another form, asking if I had any convictions, failed any checkrides, etc.
I took the test last night. The gouge on here is spot on. Thanks to everyone who provided it!
I was called this morning for the phone screen. She asked the usual questions. Why do you want to come to Atlas? Do you think you can handle being gone for 17 days? Can your family handle being gone for 17 days? How'd you get into aviation? How much notice would you need to give your current job? Mostly it was really feeling me out to make sure I understood the lifestyle and that I would be OK with it.
She was very friendly and easy to talk to. She shared that they have about 20 left in the pool right now. She said it looked as though they'd be hiring into the 74. She said they hadn't given her a projected number she was to hire this year. But that those projections changed all the time anyway, from being told she'd hire all year and then only hiring 5 to being told no hiring and then hiring a ton.
It seems as though something's about to go down. I suspect this is the start of several classes this year. But that's pure speculation on my part and not based on anything she said.
She offered me interview dates of the 12th or 13th. So, looks like I'll finally be checking out the grill on 2/12! Anybody else gonna be there?

Congrats STR, I'll be there on the 13th. Best of luck to you! Does anyone know when the next class will be after the 24th? The 24th is less than 2 weeks from the 12/13 so I'm assuming the people in those interview dates will be going to classes after that.

Great info guys. Thanks for all the posts. It's a great read and gives good study info. Still waiting for any sign that I'm being considered. With only 200 TPIC, is this the issue no calls or emails are coming my way?

I am not a real employee yet, so I have NO IDEA what I'm talking about, but the pool started with 40 swimmers. Only 24 have gotten the first two classes. I would assume the rest of the swimmers will get the next dates, until that resource is dried up. Someone who knows what they are talking about correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh come now, you've been reading these posts long enough to know it's not you, it's them. Yes or no:.. do you meet the requirements to apply, if yes than you're in the stack. How they chose who they chose from the stack (outside of going to conferences which seems to put you on top of the stack) lives only in legend, the untouchable legend of picking people to interview at Atlas. We all hear whispers but no one really knows for sure.
