Congrats STR, I'll be there on the 13th. Best of luck to you! Does anyone know when the next class will be after the 24th? The 24th is less than 2 weeks from the 12/13 so I'm assuming the people in those interview dates will be going to classes after that.
If I was a betting man, I'd say March 17th.... But that's not official....

Great info guys. Thanks for all the posts. It's a great read and gives good study info. Still waiting for any sign that I'm being considered. With only 200 TPIC, is this the issue no calls or emails are coming my way?

I am not a real employee yet, so I have NO IDEA what I'm talking about, but the pool started with 40 swimmers. Only 24 have gotten the first two classes. I would assume the rest of the swimmers will get the next dates, until that resource is dried up. Someone who knows what they are talking about correct me if I'm wrong.

You're on the right track, nicely done. They have already filled the class on the 24th and if no one is removed from that class, those swimming will still be swimming. If no other class is announced or filled before Feb. 13th or shortly there after, the newly hired will join the old-new hires in the pool, the water will get swirled around and those with the best scores of all in the pool will exit first. It's a score thing, not a longevity thing.

Oh come now, you've been reading these posts long enough to know it's not you, it's them. Yes or no:.. do you meet the requirements to apply, if yes than you're in the stack. How they chose who they chose from the stack (outside of going to conferences which seems to put you on top of the stack) lives only in legend, the untouchable legend of picking people to interview at Atlas. We all hear whispers but no one really knows for sure.

Can your family handle being gone for 17 days? How'd you get into aviation? How much notice would you need to give your current job? Mostly it was really feeling me out to make sure I understood the lifestyle and that I would be OK with it.

She was very friendly and easy to talk to. She shared that they have about 20 left in the pool right now. She said it looked as though they'd be hiring into the 74. She said they hadn't given her a projected number she was to hire this year. But that those projections changed all the time anyway, from being told she'd hire all year and then only hiring 5 to being told no hiring and then hiring a ton.

It seems as though something's about to go down. I suspect this is the start of several classes this year. But that's pure speculation on my part and not based on anything she said.

She offered me interview dates of the 12th or 13th.
Thank you very much for "paying it foreword!" That's what makes this thread so valuable!

Well, if the inbox explosion the other day for 74 open time has anything to do with anything, I'd say we're pretty darned short! And this is the "slow season" for the 74.

I am collecting gouge information from those that like to pay it foreword, PM me please if this is an activity you would like to participate in!!

Deep down inside, I know its not me. It's just frustrating, as I am sure that many folks out there are. 3 years now going to job fairs, sending out resumes, updating resumes, re-applying. It's frustrating to us all, and I am not out to complain or grip "why not me?" I wish I knew, just as we all do, what holds some of us back, and what advances others. PIC time? MIL experience? Or just plain ol' fashioned "knowing someone". It seems with these contracts that regionals are accepting, it is only getting harder and harder to progress in this career and fly at the place you want to fly; not just for myself: but for all of us guys that work hard to move forward and advance their careers to the next level, or simply to just the level they want to be at. For me, as it is for many others, Atlas is that level. It will take time, I know. As many of us know, being on the backside of the wave of hiring that I, as well as many others, have been on, seems to only yield always being on the backside of any future waves. We will persevere and we will prevail in the long term, of this I am certain.

Hey everyone. I just got home from a trip and I'm interviewing on 2/11. I just saw on the application asking if your medical is current within in previous 6 months. Is that a major "make or break" item for the interview? No where in the interview packet does it state you need a current medical(within 6 months). It's kinda difficult to arrange a flight physical in a week.
