Coming in and flying the 737 as an FO would mean that we'd start attracting guys who would be starting at a regional but decide to get some 737 time instead. Just an opinion... They won't be able to get any new types on property if they keep losing us faster than they can train us which is what has happened so far this year.
Someone didn't think that one through.

Ah well, enough rumor-mongering. When are we getting the 787s again?

Its not just Atlas,,,, K4 is 1/4 the number of pilots.. and we have lost about 12 due to attrition or retirement in the first 6 months of the year.... for the first time in nearly 2 years the company is actually talking about hiring......i think companies like this LIKE the turnover... means a certain percentage of the pilot group is on 1st or 2nd year pay...

Good job Poak. I'm third year pay at Atlas and still make less than I did at a Regional and have less days off. Had another FO on the 74 tell me it wasn't till his fourth year at Atlas that he made more than the regional he left.
