Thanks, Springer . . . . I thought I had HAWK figured out. But like everything else here things change just when you think you do.

If you could comment on JFK 76 base, type of lines, number of pairings, how senior, any newhires there...?

-Lines/Pairings vary quite a bit. We've seen 100% reserve lines to 80% trip pairings since I've been based there. Inevitably it matters little because company can change your whole line as needed.
- It is significantly more senior than CVG. I am the bottom and still prefer it most months thus far.
- We'll see what happens in next few months with seat-locks beginning to release.

Change is a constant at Atlas...those that can't live that will NOT be happy here.

If you are the type that wants LGA to ORD ten times a day (or even CVG to NRT, etc on a regular basis), even after you were awarded that line, then move on and apply elsewhere (and I don't mean Southern Air, Kalitta, etc). I mean you should not waste everyone's time and your efforts (and most importantly, taking up a slot in training, seniority list, etc).

Now, that said, that flexibility has a price...IMHO, Atlas is not paying us for giving them that flexibility (it is arguably better than it used to be...yes, I did say that, get over it!!). It is now high time to stop making deals with our Schedulers, Travel Agents, etc and FOLLOW THE CBA. That is the only way our next contract will give us what we deserve...and that is called...Industry Standard pay (both hard and soft money rules), QOL, retirement, etc

Good luck to all...btw, my current two-week trip has taken me to...ready?...DXB, KWI, RMS, UAB, MCT, OTP, RMS, and I finish in BWI. Those that don't know those codes, "Google is your friend" (not really, but that is what they say!!)

And it is called sCrew Scheduling, Talon!!

Thanks, DC8...as you well know, that is NOT how it started...and it may very well end differently!! And there were a couple of DH legs that I did not mention...lotsa miles, and damn you forget how good the Middle Eastern carriers are in Business Class (DHed on EY FRA-AUH-MCT...wow, that was nice, all the 18-year old Scotch you can handle!!)

Right you are, Talon! 744Driver probably doesn't even have time to go to his bunk room during those short hops! It's like he's flying for a regional for crying out loud.

Contrast his trip with my month ... so far:

What's a "bunk room"? Oh, right, it's where I never get to sleep on my DH flights to Asia...

Ooops, sorry. Hasn't anyone shown you the guest bunk room on the Gucci Jet? It's just past the Jacuzzi near the pool table.

I knew UAB right away...University of Alabama-Birmingham...used to play volleyball in their gym.
Didn't know MCT (Muscat), forgot OTP: Bucharest, Romania...stayed overnight there once.
