Recent conversations here and on the line suggest that job fairs and conferences like WIA, OBAP, etc are great places to make a first impression with the Atlas recruiters...If you have not done that already, it might be time to invest some time and effort and yes, even some money into those events.

I did. Still no luck, but I'm going to try again next year. They still seem pretty intent on the 1,000 TPIC. Thanks for the update though, I certainly haven't given up.

Just got the call from Denise. I took the online test back in early May, Interviewed on the 15th up in NY. Start class on the 11th of Aug. I have to say that this thread has been extremely instrumental in the whole process and the gouge was spot on. Thank you all who provided a wealth of information on here. It obviously paid off. Really looking forward to getting back on a line. Furloughed since Feb.

747. She did say that they are doing a class on the 767 starting Aug 18th. She said they are very short handed as well. Thanks

That's not what they've been telling us! They've been telling us that they're not concerned about attrition and they have a stack of resumes a mile high...

Congrats! It's an awesome job and you'll love the flying and travel!

Globemaster, she made mention of trying to fill a few more slots for this class on the 11th. During the interview they made it seem they really need pilots. I am also hearing different from a few of my former flying buddies who are already at Atlas. I am looking forward to it. Last 6 years was similar flying and loved it.

They clearly do need more pilots. We're all getting a ton of open time emails every day. If they use us in that manner they have to pay us extra. Many of us feel that there should be a ton of movement for those of us at the bottom in the next year.

I'm personally wondering how they intend to staff the 767 this fall, considering that roughly 30 FOs will come unlocked, and there were only 7 767 new-hires on the latest vacancy bid. Rumors abound of more jets, too.

Oh well, I just work here.
