The 14/14 is not really user friendly under part 117, going to need some time off in there.

Probably best to avoid speculation and wait till they put something out. The most recent podcast and magazine interviews made it sound like they are aware they have to be competitive to attract pilots in today’s market.

It seems like the industry is now drifting away from capacity discipline, which is not a good thing.

It always happens, just like drifting back into ruinous fare wars after all the carriers swore they had learned their lesson.

My last three forays in the center seat of coach tell me it is alive and well.

* pay will be regional +20% + profit sharing
* using 195's to launch next summer ish 50% scheduled/50% charter
*possibly home basing to begin with 14/14 schedules
* a lot of seasonal routes with the A220, as the flexibility of the aircraft was the major selling point (ability to swap class configurations quickly)
* all of the reservations will be done through a virtual office
*the only thing he would say about a possible crew base was he had a an idea of a really amazing place he thought crews would love (not SLC, I asked as he mentioned some portions of the company being based there)

I'm not sure how much if any of this is new info to those of you interested, but figured I'd share.
Interesting. I agree that the pay level suggested wouldn’t attract many in this market. I can understand why linking with a regional using E175s could make sense if they initially take E195s as the transition risk would be less.

Although this info is very insightful, I also agree that it is still early and that we should wait for more formal information before forming our opinions. Moxy will need quality pilots and it will have to provide a compelling offer in this market to attract them....

Who was it, Crandall I think, who said “You’re always at the mercy of your dumbest competitor”.

13/15 would be interesting. I’m making almost $140,000 as a regional Captain. If they can get it to $200,000 for initial cadre Captains I think they’ll have no problem filling the seats.
