Look for yourself. None of the supplemental cargo certificates are ever going to get flag pax status (hasn't happened since atlas). The newest flag certificate is Compass (2007), one domestic supplemental cert was issued in 2017 to Ross Perot, and two supps were issued in 2015 (Via airlines and national cargo).

I'll say it again, The FAA isn't handing out new 121 certificates. He's going have to buy one. Especially if he ever dreams of carrying a paying passenger over a US border.
What about a passenger carrying supplemental?

Can you tell us how many 121 carts have been denied? He will have no issues getting one.

This 121 very discussion is ludicrous.

This comes down to a “make vs but” decision”. Is it cheaper to acquire one with “potential liabilities” or start from scratch?

I know many people think that there is value in getting an existing cert plus crews.

Guess what? It is likely to be a lot better to start fresh. Neeleman will have zero problems getting a 121 cert. and people will line up around the block to fly for Mozy.

This literally reads like a bunch of blokes whom know nothing and speculate greatly. Absolutely pointless thread rife with pure rubbish.

Welcome to an anonymous online forum!!! Sometimes the speculation turns out to be true - and sometimes it ain’t. Buyer beware!
