Also, we are currently getting rid of the Ejet, so lots of senior pilots are transitioning to the 220, creating a negative relative seniorirty progression for the next 12 months.

There’s just been that one article, not sure about every few weeks. You’re thinking of APC. Take the info on here with a grain of salt, it represents the extremes of the pilot groups. Waiting for a call or not, you’d be crazy to stay at a regional vs coming here. As far as morale? Amazing if you live in base. Commuting? Probably doable if you’re an hours flight from a base. My seniority number hasn’t moved up much at all, people are staying.
Breeze is full of folks who never left their prior airline, or couldn't, etc... (insert reason). So saying people are staying at Breeze is not a good indicator of morale... they never planned on leaving anyway. |

We do have a bunch of A220s on order too though.

If you live in base, you will have some of the greatest lines in the industry once your a lineholder. If you commute, you will have the absolute worst QOL in the industry.

I know nothing about Breeze, but am curious what makes the lines so great and, conversely, so bad. Do you all only do day turns?

It’s mix of day trips and 2 to 3 day trips. Line holders get up to 19/20 days off and are home most of the month. Problem is the sequence of days on and off makes it not very commutable. You might have 5 off then you might have 4 on 2 off 3on etc with day trips too. So at least half the month or more might not be very commutable.

Is this common? Must be super efficient if guys are getting 19/20 days of while getting over guarantee..? And doesn't seem to make sense that schedules would be built that way below min guarantee.
quick questions, Im mil fixed wing R-ATP eligible. on the website it shows
or is it the FAA definition of PIC which then i can count my military copilot time? thanks in advance. |
