I saw nothing about pilot pay, but it does seem he has a thing or two to learn about ETOPS..

David: Yeah, but that’s different. [The 220] has 7-hour range. We can fly Salt Lake to Maui or Denver to Kahului.
Not with passengers and bags.

I assume he’s talking about this.
Ah, i didn’t see it that way at first, but re-reading it, yeah, he’s saying his pilots will be making 175 pay, because it’s essentially the same airframe.
Hope that doesn’t work out the way he thinks it will....

With all of the legacies hiring big time over the next decade, I would expect compensation to become reasonably competitive - or risk Breeze becoming another revolving door...

With spirit and frontier captains making 300k a year where in the world do they find people for jobs that pay less than 190 rate at other places?

Can you educate yourself a little more about the size and range of those two aircraft (at least the A220)?

It irks me to no end to fly with and talk to pilots that deem both the E-190/195 and A220 as “RJs” just because they’re from the same manufacturer that started out their jet product line with 50 seat RJs.

Get out of that mentality or else management will gladly pay you RJ rates on them when in reality they’re replacement aircraft for small narrowbody MAINLINE aircraft.
