Compass airlines has a Phoenix base and lots are getting it right out of training. We also
do a ton of Texas flying so you could get to work or home often on our own metal(higher priority boarding). Right now 17.5k bonus and training is somewhat backed up like others but if you study hard(no retraining) most people get through in about 2-3 months. Ultimately, Do what’s best for you and your family. If any qs feel free to p.m. me.

§ 91.1053 Crewmember experience.
(a) No program manager or owner may use any person, nor may any person serve, as a pilot in command or second in command of a program aircraft, or as a flight attendant on a program aircraft, in program operations under this subpart unless that person has met the applicable requirements of part 61 of this chapter and has the following experience and ratings:
(1) Total flight time for all pilots:
(i) Pilot in command - A minimum of 1,500 hours.
(ii) Second in command - A minimum of 500 hours.
(2) For multi-engine turbine-powered fixed-wing and powered-lift aircraft, the following FAA certification and ratings requirements:
(i) Pilot in command - Airline transport pilot and applicable type ratings.
(ii) Second in command - Commercial pilot and instrument ratings.
.....
Or did you mean to say you had an ATP that dated from before the CTP requirement?

Seriously? I'm not sure he could even legally be PIC of what he flew without an ATP:

Never ceases to amaze me how little so many 121 guys know about stuff outside 121 (or even inside it).
Flying part 91 <19 seats, just PPL, multi and type rating..
91K - not sure, assume like 135
135 - 10> seats -1200 hours, typed. If it's >10seats OR turbojet - Needs ATP to be PIC.
Qualifying as 121 time - 135 greater than 10 seats or turbojet - why, ATP is required, just like 121.
If he has this much turbine PIC, he might want to look at doing his ATP on his own then going for F9/NK.

Ummm have you even read FM1?
With that being said the OP needed an ATP for 92.1053(a)(2)(i) to apply after re-reading his original post.
So to answer your original question it’s taking FO’s roughly 6-8 months to end up back in DFW.

There is a big difference in 91k and 135 from cape air and other commuter airline operations.. I'm sorry but having experience in the airlines is a good thing before upgrading.. it's not the flying.. it's not the emergency procedures.. it's all the the bs you have to pout up with daily.. on the job training was priceless for me and something my airline is quickly losing.

I dont work for envoy. However if you dont need 1,000 part 121 then why do they advertise you need 1000 hours part 121 to be a direct entry captain?

The OP said he applied a month ago with no response. Let that sink in. If he would qualify as a CA wouldn't Envoy offer an interview 30 seconds after applying??
