Here's some ideas on credit sources and other schools. Knock it out and don't sweat it. You can finish for less than a few thousand bucks. It's hard work though.

That^^^^^^*!!!!

Besides, everyone who flies for a living ought to have a backup. You are always just one medical problem from being unemployed.
I get your point, but most airlines have excellent LTD plans that pay you half to two-thirds of your salary to retirement if you are unfortunate enough to not be able to maintain a C1 medical.

Some do, some don't. If you actually GET to the majors, that may be true. But your career can certainly be derailed short of that point, particularly if the major airlines delay picking you up because you DON'T have a four year degree. Besides, the first two years - getting your distribution requirements - are the hard ones. Upper division courses are generally far more interesting and more liberally graded, unless you are trying to major in physical chemistry or something similarly known to be difficult.

Flying for a regional without a degree? No problem.

There are a lot of areas of aviation that do not require a degree.

If you intend to work toward a degree while gaining flight experience, there are plenty of places you can do it. Many have.

Uh...Yes and No.

Ever been on LTD? I have. 2 different policies, 2 different companies.

If you have not...You'll see how it REALLY pans out. ( Hopefully not. )

Insurance Companies have all sorts of little "Gotcha's" in their LTD plans...It's What They DO.

Good Luck.
