Default straight to Majors

I would like to know if anyone has met someone that got into major right after training. I would like to know if there is a possibility for that.

thank you

Yes. I’m honestly surprised more guys/gals don’t do it that way. I mean... if you REALLY want to slug it out at the regionals for 5-10 years go right ahead.

That’s definitely the way to go. Why waste years building time and experience?

United has (had?) a program that took CFIs straight to United. Lufthansa aviation training CFIs I think.

I’ve known a few, very few and they were females in the Reserves, who went from UPT to an airline. In one case, American.

Gonna be difficult to impossible except in some ab initio program like the CFI to UA.
