The only person that gets a cigar, the regs clearly say 5 year history on a PRIA, if longer then 5 years that employer is part of a background history of 10 years, not necessarily part of a PRIA paperwork history. There is nothing worse then a pilot who doesn't follow instructions!!!!

I do some contract flying for a part 91 company. I interviewed with AE on 5/12 and they had me fill out the PRIA paperwork for the Part 91 company. The 91 company stated that they did not keep training records. I guessed that was OK with AE because neither myself or the company has heard back from AE. I didn't fill out the PRIA papers prior to the interview since I, too, understood that it was for a 121/135 gig.

Whoa! This is 100% wrong!

Only 121/135 employers are required to initiate the PRIA process when they hire you.

But they MUST send PRIA record requests to ALL past employers who employed you as a pilot in the last five years...

This includes part 91 and flight schools! They may not have any records, which is OK but the request must be sent.
