I have been to WAI in the past and went last year. The previous ones I went to were great, I got to spend as much time as I wanted chatting with any airline I wanted to. Last year was a goat rope. They were totally unprepared for the number of job seekers and had to try to make it work on the fly. Hopefully the pass thing will work better this year, and it is a great place to network with people. I would recommend going all three days if possible. That is what I am planning on doing.

Can anyone comment on hook-up percentages. Thanks

Good luck, Ice.

With the "fast pass", it says there are a limited number of passes per company and per person each day. I wonder how this works if you are only available on one of the days to attend? How many can they give out, 2 or 3? This could get interesting....

For those that have attended in the past, which day is most crowded? I will be there Thursday and doing EC prep on Friday, so I can only do 1 day.

For those who've been or those in the know, is it suit and tie for three days or business casual?

WARich 02-23-2014 03:26 AM

Well I'll be hanging in the Atlas line myself. Second priority for me is the Fast Pass, we'll see how that works out. I'm only there for one day too, sorta late in the planning to adjust my schedule for 3 days of Fast Pass chance.

If you read the WIA Conference web site, it has all the info you guys are asking, as far as attire and how many fast passes are available. There is a PDF documet that shows exactly how many Fastpasses are avail for each airline and what day.

Jetnfast 02-23-2014 04:14 AM

Spoilers your right, most of it is on the site, but I couldn't find any clarification of how many passes per person are issued. Of course the limiting factor is how many are remaing when one reaches the registration desk, at least that's how I see it.

In terms of attire I would treat it like an interview (if that's your goal) and be wearing a suit and tie.

AeroCrewSolut 02-23-2014 04:24 AM

The dress code at the conference is business formal (suit and tie).
