Endeavor if you want to make the most money over the next 4 years of any regional FO, you upgrade within 4 years then that is a huge win. You will get NYC 900 for sure(JFK or LGA). Get your time make some good money and then get out. Delta has committed a huge chunk of our resources into NYC so our presence there will be always be significant.

I'd make a decision sooner rather than later.
When envoy closes their NYC ops, there's going to be +/-200 well trained and experienced FOs looking for a new employer.
Most won't commute or go to one of the other AAG regionals.
On a secondary note, you'll be working on behalf of a corporation that produces a far better product than the USAir/newAA. For many it's not important, but there are some that want to work for a winner.
Good luck in your search.

Seriously, I get that you're "PDT pilot" but re read: "Why anyone would pass on PDT is beyond me..."
I mean come on! It's just hilarious! The guy is wondering why no one wants to take a bite out of a **** sandwich...

Some trips are commutable, many are not. Some may be commutable only at one end. So you may have to come in the night before and/or stay into one day after your last duty day. It all depends how your line comes out when you get it....when you can hold a line. Reserve is usually commutable on one end, but since you won't know when you will be used a crashpad is a must.
