Logbook for interview
I started out using a paper logbook and have moved to the digital logbook. I tried to keep up with the paper logbook as well as the digital, but have fallen a few months short. I have an interview and I want to know if I should take the time to transfer everything to the paper logbook for the interview. Would it be alright if I bring the paper logbook for all the endorsements and everything just how it is now, and then print out the digital logbook for all my current flight time?

I took my military print outs for my interview with no problems. It only listed a summary of times based on qual level. No specific legs or neat little stories in the margins. Some guys obsessed over making their paper logs match the military to the tenth of an hour. I don't believe they care. Whatever you bring; look it over with a critical eye and be prepared to answer a skeptic. They will know, after meeting you, if they can trust what you have presented in your combination of logbooks. Don't sweat it.

I have had a digital logbook for years. I have taken them to my last interview and they loved it. I printed it and put it in a binder i bought from LogbookPro. I did take my endorsements from my paper logbook and put them with my digital.

Well, as it turned out, I ended up bringing the paper logbook to the interview. I had to sit down and transfer everything from the digital over to the paper.
Why? Because I couldn't get the digital to print in a way that it looked acceptable. No matter how I configured it, it was spread across 3-4 pages, or in size 6 font. I didn't think that either of those would look very professional. I am using the logbook from forpilots.com logbook and have liked it up until I tried to print it. Anyone else have the same logbook, or an idea of one that I can switch to that will work better (that I can transfer my times to without having to recopy everything)?
