If anyone else cares, AKPlacer and I both have almost exactly the same times and aircraft experience. These numbers seem to do the trick at the UPS interview for fighter guys. See ya in class.

Probably for the extra vacation accruals that most Captains have over FOs.

It sounds like the pool still sits at apx 60 and the average time swimming is a month or two. I live in Alaska, so I hope I get a chance at one of the seemingly abundant MD-11 ANC seats. Has anyone been called yet for the 3/22 or 4/4 classes?
They'll probably assign you to the 757 MIA!

...instead, it has a calendar!

Slice,

I am an Eagle guy. In the interview, they seemed more interested in demonstrated work ethic, ability to get along with others, even academic background than type of aircraft.

Slice,

Eagles. I hear the A-10 throttles have two settings: Off and Fly.

FreightDog and others in the know,

Do poolies from last year need to go and fill out a UPS 2007 app. before we can processed? Saw this info on another thread and it is the first time I have heard of it.

I was placed in the pool last December 2006. I start class in March.

After you get the initial call, there will be a follow-up e-mail with a link to the 2007 application. Nice thing is, most of the fields are already complete from your 2006 version. There are some additional pages, but it was a quick and easy application.
