At the present time there is no strike on the table. Try to get your information from something other than APC.
You quote "minor" as if you are the arbiter, judge, or even attorney of record. Those decision are made at higher levels...yes, subject to being disputed and/or overturned. The prior job action was determined (by union attorneys) to be a major dispute item, subsequent rulings changed that...even further agreements have dissolved those decisions in their entirety.
Are there other items or disputes in the future for ABX? For any other 1224 carrier? For airlines other than Teamster represented operators? Probably and most likely...yes. Will they end up in job actions....I do not know. Best to be prepared either way. It's true that ABX has the potential for a scope infraction...label it major if you want (I'm not the person to make that call). As others have said, it remains to be seen. I doubt anything will occur soon; as operations progress, that may be another story.
Regarding what you are supposed to do? Whether its 3 months or 3 years, you do exactly what you did in the past....support your industry, and brothers in the Union. I don't think anyone is "happy" about being on or supporting a strike. It can be a necessary evil; one that I hope is not required again (for ABX or anyone else). I know everyone appreciates K4 as well as <most> everyone else in their actions and solidarity.

Once again the Negotiating commetee has wasted precious time in the last meeting discussing the strike "thread". The company keeps quoting "pilot boards" as the source, which is really childish. But nonetheless, making strike jokes or using sarcasm on these forums it's only making Union-management talks longer and more annoying.
It's like making jokes about alimony to your ex-wife. It's pointless. She'll never find them funny, and surely enough, she'll find a way of using them against you.

You really believe the reason for the prolonged negotiations is because of some dumbass concern over pilot boards? The company stalled for three days prior to putting anything across the table and it was because the company was afraid they would **** us off with their proposal........hence no proposal!
These guys are used to dealing with 25 year old snowflakes or a pilot group without a voice. It can and will get bad if needed.
On a brighter note: I hear that the ATI negotiations have stalled as well, looks like the ATSG fix is in.

They sit back down in just over a week. No one here will accept less than Kalitta. I take that back there may be few. GREAT thing is that most all the newbs have told management on the meet and greets that they are gone in a year if nothing happens. Keep in mind I hate alpa due to a previous airline. However, one of our negotiators has a temper The other one, albeit a smaller guy, I wouldn't want to argue with for too long. One is tactical one is strategic they won't back down.
That little crying ### attorney will cost ATSG their existence. Like I said in another post pilot jobs, good paying ones, are everywhere. Management jobs not so much.
Plus if it goes bad you'll have this pilot group looking at 1224 very seriously. That way every pilot group on property will be livid PO'ed and the 1224 of yesteryear would look like a Marry Poppins tea party.

So, heard this rumor floating around the other day...Amazon is looking at Amerijet now to run another 20 planes. Anyone else hear anything else about this? Oh, and sorry to bring up an old thread. Name sounded fitting
