How so...no one would have gone on the street. They need everyone they can keep and then some. The attrition rate is just beginning.

Bottom line is whether on one list or two these groups must stick together and demand what they deserve. Anyone who thinks this company can't afford to pay market rates is either a fool or a management stooge. A pilot is a pilot whether at ATI, ABX Atlas, UPS or Delta. If management wants to retain their pilots they better make them an offer that is competitive.

But, with respect, l have to disagree with this.

If one would disregard the attacks by the rank and file and just take what the ABX EXCO has said, our list and our culture would've been shredded. Again, you have to understand the history ATI has had with 1224 and 747 before that. The adage, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" comes to mind.

Out of ALL seriousness this solidifies the point. Right now NO ONE is gonna be hitting the pavement. Just way to high of a demand. We could merge tomorrow and still be hiring PERIOD

Not saying your wrong or even disagreeing in whats happened. That point time both Rick and Tom were watching over and protecting their respective groups. Mud slinging has gone both ways over that fence. Time has passed and we are where we are. All BS aside and looking forward (unions aside too) we are two groups with a common goal working under the same roof with a common problem.

Negotiating by taking a hard stance on not giving us industry standard pay will eventually solidify both groups. ATSG has way too much skin in the game to back off. We are under paid by nearly 6 figures, ABX is much higher however they too are losing ground. These SOB's have put both us on the street before and probably enjoyed it. Id like to return the favor if needed.

Pilot jobs are opening everywhere, I don't see those management jobs though. Actually I didn't see the news report a MASSIVE SHORTAGE OF AIRLINE MANAGEMENT...
