Our negotiations committee had to address them in ours because our company put them on the table briefly. Guess what? Our committee overcame those issues. Suck it up cupcake and stop trying to blame Kalitta for your negotiations committee poor strategy. Our men got it done in spite of interference from DW. You cannot seem to get it done, with his support. You are working with a company that is swimming in debt, our guys worked with a company that is well funded and private. Lets see.....took K4 pilots 6 years to get a new contract. Atlas pilots had a SUPERIOR CONTRACT that whole time. Atlas is about to enter the second year of negotiations.

Healthcare......Atlas has more than 5 different options. We can choose the best healthcare for our individual families. I will grant you some of the options cost more than what you pay but when the healthcare was negotiated last contract our pay and benefits were WAY ABOVE YOURS.

Imputed income......SUCKS. But again when the contract was negotiated ATLAS pay and benefits were way above K4.

But since you want to compare your shiny new contract with the old Atlas contract......

What bonus do you get for flying on days off? Is it 2,4,6,6,6,? Do you get 12 hours for involuntary flying on day 4?

How is that business class travel? Do you get it on every single international flight no matter the length? Atlas has had that for over 5 years.


On the other hand......while you were negotiating did the Atlas pilots try to undermine your negotiations or did you get support from Atlas pilots?

Meanwhile you Kalitta Kittens keep trying to undermine our negotiations.

It is pathetic that you and your fellow kittens keep trying to blame DW, Atlas Pilots and 1224 for the buyer's remorse you are feeling for your new contract. Enjoy your shiny pay rates!

 

Buyers remorse? None here. You need to understand that our NC was under extreme pressure from a very pro company mediator and it wasn't worth waiting 1-2 years under pathetic pay rates. It's called picking your battles. We start again in 4 years. The arbitrator will soon decide our new duty limits for double crews. DW wants 18hrs which will essentially make double crewing illegal. Nobody wants that here. And last, that letter from DP went right in the trash.

 

To set the screw straight;

Kalitta does NOT have forced days off flying, hence no 12 hours pay on day 4. However, if we get home even one day late, we get 6 hours for that day minimum, for every day we're late, fly or no fly. If we fly on day 17, we get minimum 6 ,or 1.5 our hourly rate, whichever is greater.
But alas, we usually just say NO.

The business class travel is working just fine, thank you for your concern.
We have always had cadillac healthcare. For at least 24 years.

For the record; K4 pilots have NEVER tried to undermine Atlas in anyway shape or form. That may be your perception or opinion, but you would be wrong.

 

Hey guys and gals, this thread is not about Kalitta against Atlas, it’s about ALPA vs Teamsters. Our Atlas brothers and sisters are not our nemesis, our issue is with the Local and finding a way to move forward to get DW and the Teamsters BS out of our life.

I don’t know a single pilot that speaks harshly toward any other pilot group, especially Atlas. We may see thing differently with regard to the union, but to be clear we are all on the same page. I know all of us wish you nothing but complete success in obtaining the contract you deserve.

I don't understand why any Atlas pilot would even respond to this thread? I hope Atlas's next contract is better than ours, I think most K4 pilots feel this way.

K4 has a great contract of which they are rightfully proud , everybody hopes you all get an even better one , so where did the love go ?
