The funny thing to me about this is that you're blaming Atlas for anything. You guys voted "Yes" overwhelmingly on a contract that pays your 12 year Captains $20-$30K LESS a year than a 2nd year UPS FO. Congrats on the "ACMI Leading Contract". It's about like being the best basketball team in Vietnam.

I know goldfinger comes off sounding like he is blaming Atlas for our contract problems. Our issue is with DW and it needs to be resolved. But let me reiterate that goldfinger does not speak for all us here at K4. Frankly goldfinger did this to stir the pot and it was very immature. Any and all of what we at K4 vote or decide on should stay amongst our group.

To the Atlas crews, we support you guys and we will do what we can to help. Atlas pilots will end up with a great contract and that will give us something to base our next negotiations off of. Division is not something we need at all.

Globemaster, We did vote overwhelming "YES". Compared to our last contract, this current contract is light years ahead of what we had. Baby steps is what it takes but we made a huge step for this group. None of the other majors had a great contract in a day, this took a long time. But please go review pays scales and rebuttal your own post.

I sincerely hope we get an Industry Standard Contract not just for us but for all of the ACMI guys who are treated like garbage and have been for decades. I'll be voting "No" or I'll be voting with my feet for anything less than Industry Standard. If I were a Captain at K4 right now I'd still be trying to get out if I were younger than about 55. The money is there to justify it. Atlas is so bad that I'm "All In" until I'm "All Out".

Serious question, have you looked at what our pay is? I would say with the home basing and pay raises, its very hard to beat. I am 9 1/2 CA and a long way from 55.

Serious question to those who think 1224 is run or dominated by Atlas. What do you think 1224 has done or is doing for Atlas pilots specifically? We have one of the worst CBA's in the industry with little hope for better anytime soon. If Atlas was the dominate carrier within a union local amongst many, one would think they would have the best CBA. ABX and K4 have better CBA's so I'd say they're the leaders of 1224, no?

There goes another uniform shirt for this trip!

Seeing teamsters here at ATI would be an omen to Red Face Bucky. He'd know his time is limited.

By looking at RFB I guess you guys at ABX have a substandard dental plan like ATI. That or he's just been hit in the mouth too much.

The funny thing is when Atlas decertified APLA and went Teamsters we were told we'd have our own local.

I don't know where you got your facts but it takes year 9 before a UPS FO makes more then a Kalitta Captain. By year 3 of the new contract, No UPS FO pay surpasses Kalitta Captain pay.
