Let the K4 pilots enjoy their vote results
I am as anti ALPA as anyone on here but the vote is done and it can't be changed
Time will tell if this was a good move. If it is then good for K4 pilots
If it turns out to be a bad move then many posters on here will be able to say told you so!

I would be very interested to know which of the most vocal anti-1224 posters here will run for office. People with that much passion sometimes make for very effective union leaders. Unfortunately, many of them never step up to the plate.
Again, a union is only as good as their pilot group and those who represent them. The national branch, either Teamsters or ALPA, make little difference in the life of ACMI carriers like us.

So this was exactly what I was worried about. Decert happened yesterday and no word from DP or ALPA. What happens if I get canned today? Did ALPA take us? Who’s protecting us and our contract. We’re in limbo right now with no answers...

You will be ALPA seconds after the Teamsters relinquish control over you. This is just what I have come up with doing some research. Perhaps people could do a littl of that before going into panic mode.
